Obituary of Vincent J. Buscemi, Sr.
Vincent (Vinnie) J Buscemi Sr; of Palm Bay, Fl. He was born September 18, 1933, in Maynard, MA. The beloved husband of the late Mabelle Buscemi, passed peacefully in his home in Palm Bay, Florida, on February 24, 2024. He is survived by his beloved children Vincent J Buscemi Jr., his wife Michelle Gauthier of Hampton, NH, and daughters Debra Buscemi and Donna (Buscemi) Calautti of Palm Bay, Fl. He is predeceased by his sister, Rose Morash of Hudson, MA, and survived by Josephine Doherty of Hudson, MA, and Joseph and Christine Buscemi of Wells, Maine. He leaves behind five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Vinnie was known to be a kindhearted, generous friend and a good listener. While living in Maynard, MA, he could be found volunteering and socializing at the Maynard Elks. After moving to Palm Bay, Florida, he enjoyed his friends at the American Legion Post 117. He worked at Polaroid Corporation in Waltham, MA, for 40 years. His mechanical competence led him to help build the most innovative prototype film machines of his time. His commitment to hard work was surpassed by his dedication to his family and friends.
Funeral arrangements are on March 9 at 2 PM, at Our Lady of Grace Church, Malabar Road, Palm Bay Fl.
