Vincent F. DiPrete

Obituary
82, of Smithfield, formerly of Glendale, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Hebert Health Center, Smithfield. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Philomena (Ardente) DiPrete.
Vincent worked as a manager for BJ's Wholesale Club before retiring. His passion was singing, having released multiple records in the 1960's and 70's. He was also an avid sportsman and trap shooter, having won various awards, state titles and being inducted into the Rhode Island Trapshooting Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his loving sons, Derek DiPrete of Killingly, CT, Vincent DiPrete, Jr. of Johnston, Kevin DiPrete and Perry DiPrete, both of Claremont, NH; cherished grandchildren, Kayla and Logan DiPrete. He was the dear brother of Josephine Ricci, Karen Fandetti, Frank DiPrete, Jr.and Louis K DiPrete.
VISITING HOURS will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday, December 12th from 9:00 – 10:00 am. His funeral Mass and burial are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
