Celebration of Lola's life will be held Saturday, October 8 at 11:00 at Elim Lutheran Church, 3978 West Broadway Ave. Robbinsdale, MN. Visitation will begin at 10:00.
Interment will be held at Christina Lake Lutheran Church in Melby, MN.
Lola was baptized and confirmed at Christina Lake Lutheran Church and graduated from Ashby, MN High School. On February 7, 1942 she married Clarence Behling.
Traveling with Clarence during his Army years, riveting at Boeing Airlines, and selling dresses at Bishops, in Robbinsdale, brought Lola abundant joy.
Lola's life was filled with friends and family. She loved ballroom dancing, playing the piano and organ, golfing, gardening, playing bridge, growing Lola Bean flowers, reading her Bible, and going out for lunch.
Cherishing Lola's memory and blessed to have called her Aunt are nephew, Rod (Diane) Palmquist of Fairmont, MN, great nieces, Jodi (Mark) Schoer of Rochester, MN, Jill (Eric) Swanson of Medford, OR, great nephew, Troy (Karina) Palmquist of Lake Park, IA, and 10 great great nieces and nephews, 8 great great great nieces and nephews, cousins Elaine Anderson of St. Louis Park, MN, Donald Johnson of Cedar Rapids, IA, and many faithful friends. Masks appreciated.

Lola was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I miss her daily morning phone calls just to check up on me since my husband passed away. I'm sure she and Clarence are already dancing in heaven!
