VIOLET MINERVA THEIBAULT, 92, OF LAKEWOOD
Violet Minerva Theibault passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at her home in Lakewood. She was surrounded by her loving family as she passed. Violet was born in Lakewood and was raised in the Squankum section of Howell Township. She resided in Lakewood until she passed at the age of 92. Violet graduated Lakewood High School in the Class of 1948. She was an outstanding majorette and was a member of many other school clubs. In 1951, she along with her husband, founded the landscape contracting firm, Joseph J. Theibault Jr. Landscape Designer Inc., a firm that over the years has helped to develop the landscapes of Ocean, Monmouth, Mercer and Atlantic Counties as well as other regions of New Jersey. Violet was also a Methodist Sunday School Teacher and pianist for many years. She was a member of the Lakewood PTA, worked in the Lakewood Little League Woman's Auxiliary to support her two sons while they played in the Little League, Babe Ruth League and Senior League. She was also a member of the Greenville Cemetery Association. In her leisure time she loved to bowl and was a member of different leagues for many years. She demonstrated an excellence in the game as she helped propel her teams in many league championships. Aside from helping to run the family business, raise a family and maintain 6 acres of land, she also loved to grow things in her garden and then create delicious foods for her family and friends.
Violet was predeceased by her husband Joseph, her parents Walter and Bertha Van Schoick and her sister Gloria Madge. She is survived by her two loving sons, Jeffery and his wife Claudia of Brick, and Craig and his wife Gina of Lakewood: and four grandchildren, Harrison, Alexis, Chelsey and Chase. She is also survived by two grandsons-in-law Adam Cooper and Alex Karakoglou and a granddaughter-in-law Kerry Theibault. She was also a great grandmother to Jaxson Theibault, Maverick Cooper and Chloe Karakoglou.
All are welcome to attend A Celebration of Life Memorial on Saturday, October 8, 2022, with the visitation from 11 am - 12 Noon and the service beginning at 12 noon at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ.
