Virginia Kaye Parrish Agee, 72, of Town Creek, Alabama, passed away surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 12, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, to Bryant Jack and Bonnie Jean (Briegel) Parrish.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Eugene Briegel, her brother Robert "Bob" Parrish, grandson Nathan Merrell, nephew Ronnie Parrish, and niece April Parrish.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Charles "Ike" Agee of Town Creek; daughters Danielle (A.W.) Austin of Virginia and Tina (Stoney) Merrell of Town Creek; brothers Jack Parrish and Charlie Parrish of Michigan, and Ron Parrish of Louisiana. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Nicholas (Tori) Agee, Kailyn (Sebastian) Merrell, Branden (Jessica) Agee, Kolin Joe Agee, Brennan Agee, and Stephanie (Mitch) Elliott; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who were dear to her.

Virginia's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved deeply. She enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, arranging flowers, and had a special talent for arts and crafts. With her creative spirit, she never wanted to throw anything away-always seeing the potential to turn it into something special. She was known for her warm hugs and heartfelt words, making sure everyone she loved knew it, whether they were coming or going. That legacy of love is carried on by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Virginia will be remembered for her kindness, her creativity, and most of all, the love she shared so freely with those around her.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
