Virginia F. Bubb, 94, of Lake Placid went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at her son's home in Jonestown, PA. She was the wife of the late Clair E. Bubb who passed away on June 3, 2024. Born in Haverhill, MA on May 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Frances (Chapman) Faxon. Virginia was a devoted wife to Clair for 73 years and a wonderful mother to her six children. She created a loving home for her family. She was a devoted Christian, Sunday school leader, youth leader, and missionary leader. Virginia enjoyed finding bargains at garage sales, thrift stores, visiting her family, eating seafood, and vacations to the New England coast. She is survived by her children: Sharon L. wife of the late John Marshall of Lake Placid, NY, David C. husband of Merilee Bubb of Camden, NY, Stephen J. husband of Debra Bubb of Middleburg, Judith F. wife of Philip Miller of Winfield, Jonathan H. husband of Sandra Bubb of Delanson, NY and Daniel S. husband of Vicki L. Bubb of Jonestown; and 17 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Lebanon God's Missionary Church, 2127 Hill St., Lebanon. There will be a viewing at 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Virginia Bubb may be made to the building fund at Mountain View Bible Church, 6059 Sentinel Rd., Lake Placid, NY 12946.
