Virginia Louise Kemp, age 83, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in Forbes hospital. Virginia was born on July 6, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Walter and Mary Banks. She was a graduate of Fifth Avenue High School, studied nursing in college and worked many years as a Head Nurse at Montefiore Hospital. In 1984 her and Otis move to Maryland where they continued serving Jehovah and Virginia continue in the nursing field until retiring. In 2010 they both move back to Pittsburgh where she continued as a faithful Pioneer and faithful servant of Jehovah. She enjoyed reading the Bible daily, studying the bible with her husband, as well as spending time with her brothers and sisters sharing the good news of Gods Kingdoms. Virginia had a loving smile and a very kind heart and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Virginia is survived by her loving husband, Otis Kemp, three children, Felice White, Cheryl Kemp-Majette, Otis Kemp, and Stepson Dirk Kemp three sisters, Marian Goodnight, Joyce Banks and Juanita Gardner, grandchildren Charde Lundy, LaRon Kemp, Robin Hickman, Sasha McKamey, Essence Washington-McKamey, Kyle Brookins, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia was preceded in death by her father, Walter Banks, mother, Mary Banks, and brother, Richard Banks.
