Virginia Lee Margiotta, a devoted seamstress and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Gulfport, Mississippi, at the age of 83. Born on October 25, 1941, Virginia dedicated her life to both her craft and her family, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and unwavering dedication.

Virginia attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where she dutifully attended.  She loved her God and her faith was the central part of her life.  

Virginia is survived by her loving brother, John Margiotta of Gulfport; her supportive sister, Mary Margiotta of Gulfport; and her sister, Lena Page of Tennessee. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by numerous nieces and nephews who cherished her guidance and affection.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lucile Margiotta, and her brother, Frank Margiotta. E

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Virginia on March 28, 2025. The visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Riemann Family Funeral Home in Gulfport, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Virginia will then be laid to rest in a burial service at Evergreen Cemetery starting at 3:00 PM.
