Mrs. Virginia Lois Rasnake, age 71, of Lebanon, Virginia passed away Wednesday (April 9, 2025) at her home. Born July 28, 1953 in Tazewell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Oliver Benton and Geanette Crabtree Rasnake. A lifelong resident of the southwest Virginia area, she was a graduate of Cleveland High School and Southwest Virginia Community College. She was currently attending The Cross of Christ Worship Center in Bristol, Virginia. She had formerly been an employed by Cumberland Mountain Services for several years. She enjoyed attending church, cooking, word search puzzles, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandson, Cash.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Oliver Keith Rasnake, and her former spouse of 41 years, Herman Harris.
Survivors include two children, H. Stacy Harris and wife, Michelle of Council, and Malachi Casey Harris and wife, Marisa of Saltville; grandchildren, Mackenza Harris, Landon Harris, and Malachi Cassius "Cash" Harris; step-granddaughter, Gracie Johnson; two sisters, Edna Ruth Hall and Blendia Bostic; very special friends, Missy and Greg Johnson and their daughter, Gracie, whom she loved as her own; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12 Noon Tuesday at the Crabtree Cemetery with Rev. J.R. Elswick officiating. Interment will follow in the Crabtree Cemetery.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11 – 11:30 AM Tuesday at Honaker Funeral Home.
