Virginia Rutherford Obituary

Mrs. Rutherford was a loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother.
Virginia retired from C.A. Weis elementary school as a Teacher's Aide.
She enjoyed shopping and spending time with loved ones as well as hosting holidays at home.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Royce G. Rutherford and son Royce Gerald Rutherford Jr.
Virginia is survived by children, Barbara Rutherford Cole (Johnny), Donald Rutherford, Teresa Rutherford (Royce Gerald Rutherford Jr.), grandchildren; Virginia Underwood (Jacob), Cary Coleman (Paul), Jennifer Rutherford, Greg Rutherford as well as nine great grand children.
A private family visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home from 10:30- 11:00am with graveside services immediately to follow at 11:00 am.

Mom & I didn't actually meet Virginia; however, we know her daughter in law Terisa. Virginia was loved by her family and sounded like she was a beautiful person who loved life and people. We wish we could have met her.

We didn't have the opportunity to actually meet Virginia, but we know her daughter in law, Terisa. Virginia was loved by Terisa and the whole family. She sounded like a wonderful woman with a beautiful spirit and I'm sorry mom & I never had the opportunity to meet her. Edna & Clara
