Vivian (Brewer) Brock, 87, of Medora, passed away peacefully at noon on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Hoosier Christian Village.
Born on September 10, 1937, at her parents' home Washington County, Indiana. Vivian was the daughter of Ernest and Ruby (Williams) Brewer, and the sister to Bonnie and Larry. She spent her childhood in the Fort Ritner area and graduated from Medora High School in 1955.
On July 1, 1959, in Uniontown, Indiana, Vivian married Eph Brock, Jr., her devoted husband of 65 years. Together they built a loving family and were blessed with three children, Rhonda, Kimberly, and Troy. She cherished time with her family and found joy in life's simple pleasures: watching hummingbirds, solving word search puzzles, cheering for NASCAR, and relaxing with her favorite game shows. She was a Christian and would attend Medora Pentecostal Church.
Vivian worked at Medora Plastics before continuing her career at Valeo Sylvania, where she retired from in 2003
Vivian surviving family includes her husband, Eph Brock, Jr. of Medora, daughters, Rhonda (Bryan) Cowles of Medora, and Kimberly (Jon) Sage of Seymour, and son Troy (Kim) Brock of Medora, grandchildren Ryan (Mindy) Autry, Ashley Young, Leah (Kaeler) Young, Caleb Robinson, Casey (Josh) Fields, Lacey (DJ) Brock, Jesse (Kassidy) Brock, Heather (Jeremy) Hinderlider, Ryan Cowles, Casey Cowles, and 20 great-grandchildren, sister Bonnie Singer and brother Larry (Linda) Brewer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother and sister who both passed in infancy, and granddaughter Terra Beth Cowles, and brother-in-law Robert "Popeye" Singer.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday January 22, 2025, at Hague Funeral Home of Medora.
Burial will follow at White River Valley Cemtery.
Friends may visit on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Hague Funeral Home and after 12 noon on Wednesday until time of the service.
Memorials may be written in Vivian's name to the Medora School Sports program
