Vivian Joan Hansen

Viv Hansen was born September 13th, 1950, in Bagley, MN, to Mahlon and Fern Moe. She grew up in Fridley, MN, and graduated from high school there in 1968. After graduation, she was employed as an oral surgery assistant and later engaged in the medical field in various roles as a healthcare professional.
On September 25th, 1971, she was united in marriage to Bob Hansen in Fridley, MN. Following Bob's graduation from college in Brookings, SD, Bob and Viv lived in various locations throughout the Midwest. In 1975, they welcomed their first son, Bryan, and in 1978, their second son, Bruce. In 2007, they moved to a farm in Eagle Bend, MN, and enjoyed hosting an annual church convention there until selling the farm in 2024. In 2023, Viv was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. Shortly after her diagnosis, they sold the farm in Eagle Bend, MN, and moved to Tonto Basin, AZ.
Viv made her choice to serve the Lord in her youth and was unwavering in her faith in the Lord until the end of her life. Throughout her life, she loved sitting in the sunshine, enjoyed traveling and family vacations, reading, crafting and spending time with family. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. In her later years, she adored her grandchildren, doting on them and spending as much time as possible with them.
Viv is survived by her husband, Bob; her two children: Bryan (Celia) Hansen of Laurel, DE, and Bruce (Maria) Hansen of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren: Kayli Hansen of St Paul, MN, and Caden (Isabella) Hansen of Anchorage, AK; one sister, Audrey (Wayne) Ekman, of Pea Ridge, AR; sisters-in-law: Jan Moe, Judy (Dale) Bergh; brothers-in-law: Lee Miller, Tom (Fern) Hansen, Rog (Diane) Hansen and Ken (Ellen) Hansen; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives, and many special friends.
Viv was preceded in death by her parents, Mahlon and Fern Moe; one brother, Larry Moe; one sister, Diane Moe; two sisters-in-law: Betty Miller and Dorothy (Jim) Bergh.
