Mrs. Vivian Louise Jones, age 88 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Albert Waltz will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 4 – 8 pm and Sunday, December 8, 2024 until funeral hour, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jones was born June 7, 1936 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Olen Moore and Susie May Edge Moore. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernest E. Jones, Sr., her children, Wanda Campbell, Donald Jones and Phillip Jones and her granddaughter, Rhonda Jones.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Vickie Jones of Flowery Branch and Eddie & Ann Jones of Gainesville, her grandchildren, Harlan Day & fiance, Malena Walker, Lisa Day, Shane Day, Buster Conner, Shannon Jett, Phil Jones, Donny Jones and Penny Durkin, her 19 great-grandchildren, her 9 great-great-grandchildren and her brothers, Stevie Moore and Glenn Moore, both of Gainesville.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
