Vivian Stuart Adcox passed from this earthly life to her Heavenly home on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Visitation was held 5pm-8pm Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Chapel service was held 2pm Sunday, February 9, 2025 from the Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton. Burial was held at Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery in Polkville. Bro. Barron Price and Bro. Donnie Stuart officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was honored to serve the Adcox family.
She was born in Morton, MS on April 3, 1956. Vivian was Manager at Fred’s for many years, enjoyed meeting people and making friendships. She was always doing for others and her caring heart will be missed. Vivian loved her family and she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, AW and Ida Stuart; father-in-law, Alphia Adcox; mother-in-law, Willie Ruth Adcox and brother, Leon Stuart; sister-in-law, Shirley Stuart; sister-in-law, Patsy Stuart.
She is survived by her husband, Alphia Leon Adcox; daughter, Christy Taylor and husband, Donny; son, Christopher (Moe) Adcox and wife, Lynn; 7 grandchildren, Andrew Floyd (Chloe), Dustin Pinter (Tabitha), Tymothy Floyd (Katelyn), Patricia Adcox, Kiersten Martin, Ander Adcox, Browdy Taylor; 8 great grandkids, Brooklyn Hacket, Gavyn Means, Brilee Grace, Nova Leigh Floyd, McKenzie Pinter, Easton Floyd , Rivers Floyd and Journie Floyd; sister, Brenda Kay Stuart, brother, Howard Stuart; sister-in-law; Penny Stuart; special sister, Denise Edmonds; 2 sisters-in-law, Linda Sue Reese (Steve) and Jan Nunn and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Andrew Lee Floyd, Tymothy Floyd, Browdy Taylor, Dustin Pinter, AW Adcox and AJ Hacket. Honorary pallbearers were Ryan Harrell and Jacob Adcox.
