On Monday afternoon, January 6, 2025, God called Wallace home. In His Devine Wisdom and Compassion, His angel came to carry him home.
Wallace's journey started in Doucette, Texas on June 2, 1957. He was the eleventh child born to Ammon and Jessie Mae Terrell, who preceded him in death. Brothers who preceded him in death: Julius Walker, Ross West, James Anderson, Alvin Terrell and Alton Terrell.
After graduating from high school, he attended Tyler Junior College. He later decided he did not want to compete school. He decided the military was for him. He served his term in the United States Army and earned an honorable discharge.
He leaves to mourn his passing a sister, Sherian Terrell Hadnot, brothers, Robert Anderson (Rosa), John Walker, Joe Anderson and Anthony Terrell (Melissa). Four nieces, Alicia, Gloria, LaTonja and Donae. Five nephews, Gerald, Ross, Kenneth, Everett and Robert. He also leaves to mourn his passing, loving great niece's and great nephew's as well as a host of loving relatives and friends.
Services will be held Jan. 11, 2025, at True Vine Baptist Church 2626 US Hwy 69 North Doucette, Texas 75942. Viewing will begin at 11am until funeral at 12Noon.
Proctor's Mortuary - Woodville, is in charge of final arrangements, 511 Pecan St. Woodville, TX. 75979 (409) 331-1322. The guest book can be signed; words of comfort and condolences for the family can be left at www.proctorsmortuary.com.
