Walter "Wally" Graves, 58, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on March 7, 1965 in Lincoln County, MO to Howard and Doris (Cannon) Graves. Wally attended the local schools with his brother, Morton and graduated from Winfield High School. He was employed as a security officer with Interface Security Alarm Systems. He was very athletic growing up and was outstanding at baseball as a first baseman. He was his daughters' # 1 cheerleader and coach for soccer, softball and swimming. He loved his large, extended family with all of his heart and had a great sense of humor. Wally was an avid bowler and St. Louis Cardinals superfan.
He is survived by his daughters: Rachel and husband Ben Bielecki of St. Peters, MO, Marisa and husband Keith Wilburn; and their children; Jaxon and Alivia of Camp LeJeune, NC; his brother, Morton "Marty" (Theresa) Graves of St. Louis, MO; mother of his children, Lisa Walker of St. Charles, MO, and many other relatives and friends. He will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.
Wally was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation - Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 3 p.m- 6 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 6337, (636) 528-8244.
Funeral - also on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 6 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379. Mr. David Meers to officiate.
Inurnment - Private to be held at a later date.
Memorials - to McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes for funeral expenses.
