Walter F. Kile Jr., 84, of Quakertown, PA, died on September 11th, 2025, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bethlehem, PA, Walter was the son of the late Walter Kile and the late Sarah (Lynch) Kile.

Walter was raised in Quakertown where he worked on the family farm on North Old Bethlehem Pike and it’s there where he met his wife Patricia Ann (Williams).

Walter graduated from Quakertown High School in 1958 and continued his education by attending Bob Jones University, Le Tourneau University and Penn State University studying mechanical engineering.

Walter was a skilled mechanic, machinist and tool and die maker. In the 1970’s, Walter started his own business, WF Kile Mechanical Specialties, and retired in 2015. Walter worked much of his life in the mechanical engineering spectrum, but felt most at home as an inventor, acquiring several patents along the way.

After retirement, Walter enjoyed keeping up his gardens, reading a good book, grilling on the patio and living life with his wife Patricia, family, and his close friends.

Walter will be dearly missed by his wife Patricia, together with him sharing 65 loving years of marriage; his 3 children, Frank Lewis Kile, Kevin Douglas Kile and Lisa Ann Stine; 6 grandchildren, Kristen Dawn Bertasavage, Sarah May Kile, Heather Anne Fennimore, Douglas Allen Kile, Jeffrey Jacob (Jake) Stine, and Tara Lynn Smoot; and his 10 great-grandchildren who he loved dearly.

Walter is the eldest of 7 children and is survived by his brother Truman (John) Kile and sister Ruth Hanson.

Walter is predeceased by his twin sister Sarah, his twin brother and sister Donald and Donna, and his sister Vivian.
