Dr Walt was a brilliant man. He was a phenomenal surgeon and had the respect of doctors and nurses. He was a gifted musician. He was a family man and neighbor to my family. He adored his wife and treasured his children. He was a great person and lived his life to the fullest!!! May perpetual light shine upon him. God Bless him!!!

To the Liskiewicz family:
I was a patient of Walt several years ago. My dentist had discovered a cell in my mouth that develops during infancy and is supposed to go dormant; it had become active again and was growing.
He referred me to whom he said was the best oral surgeon around. Boy was he right. Initially, the plan was to cut out a portion of my jaw and replace it with part of my hip. You can imagine my anxiety. Not only did he not have to cut it off, he was able to save a portion of it, which helped to minimize nerve damage. The surgery took four hours. Thanks to his skill, I did recover well and eventually regained feeling in my face.
After surgery, I had several follow up appointments and got to know that he was not only a great surgeon, but was also a great and interesting guy. I hope that he may rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Rich Rulewicz

Connie and Family, we are saddened to learn that Walt has passed away, but rejoice in the knowledge that he is in Heaven. What an inspiration he was to us! He persevered and continued to be productive after such a devastating diagnosis. We still have one of his cds and will always remember his kind manner. We hope you have the peace that surpasses all understanding; that his burden has been lifted and he is free and whole once more. Sending love and light, Karen and Doug Davey

I was a patient of Dr. Liskiewicz. I was one of his last patients. He removed a cyst from under the bone in my jaw. I guess it was a delicate surgery. He worried that he had hit a nerve and that my face was paralyzed. That didn´t happen but he called my dentist who told him that I was fine. I knew that he quit practicing shortly after as he was shaking after removing the cyst. I´m so sorry that he had to give up such an active career. He was an excellent surgeon. But, the world was given other gifts by listening to his music. What a talented man. I´m sure he will be remembered by many!
