Walter Anthony Reynolds Sr.

Walter Anthony Reynolds, age 66, passed away Tuesday November 4, 2025. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, November 14, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Lambert officiating. Visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Friday prior to the service.
Mr. Reynolds was born in Macon and raised in Peach County but had made his home in Milledgeville. He was employed by the State of Georgia. He worked several years with the Department of Transportation and retired from the Department of Corrections after 28 years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Augustus Reynolds and sisters Alice Padget and Belinda Kay Maya.
Survivors include his wife of over 38 years, Marianne Harris Reynolds of Milledgeville, three sons, Steven P. Reynolds (Shannon), Walter A. Reynolds Jr. (Emilie), Julian Kyle Reynolds all of Milledgeville, his mother Wanda Jean Reynolds of Haddock, niece Kayleigh Peacock, who was like daughter of San Antonio, Texas, two brothers Bill Swinford (Claire) of Kathleen, Georgia, Doug (Betty) of Suwanee, Georgia and sister Ruth Lockaby (Don) of Macon, Georgia, grandchildren, Lily Grace Reynolds, Maddox Reed Reynolds, Cole Elijah Reynolds and Braxton Kade Peacock and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Abundant Life Apostolic Church or your favorite charity.
