Walter Neil Sellers

Walter Neil Sellers, age 63, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026 in Sebring, Florida. He was born in Polk County, Florida on December 19, 1962 to Walter Sellers and Kathleen Woodham.

Neil Sellers, a deeply selfless person who showed up-no questions asked- whenever anyone needed help. He never complained and never spoke in anger. He has now been reunited with his beloved wife, Betty Spencer Sellers, a reunion we know he longed for. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing they are together again.

He leaves behind his son, Nicholas Sellers, his daughter-in-law, Grace, and his four cherished grandsons: Benjamin, Jonah, Nicholas, and Luke Sellers, who will miss his hugs and all the snacks he always gave them.

He was also known and respected for his intelligence and his skills as an electrician. Those who worked alongside him often spoke about how knowledgeable and good-hearted he was.

Outside of work, he found joy in the simple things, especially spending time with his dear friends, Edwin and Colleen Jones. He especially looked forward to their trips to the casino together. It was one of his favorite things to do. It was truly a blessing that he was able to enjoy one last trip with them the weekend before his passing.

He lived a life marked not by loud words, but by quiet actions-by generosity, humility, and unwavering love. His presence was a blessing, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the honor of knowing him.

As Christians, we are called to be Christlike and he was the most Christlike person we knew.

The Funeral Service will be held on April 1, 2026 at 11:00AM at St Michaels Catholic Church 408 Heard Bridge Road Wauchula, Fl 33873
