Walter William "Skip" Mueller passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on November 12, 2025 at the age of 74. He’s the son of the late Henry and Patricia Mueller. His wife and family always came first. Skip was the beloved husband of Carol A. Mueller (Winkel) for 52 years. Cherished father to Jason C. Mueller (Cari), Jennifer R. Manderschied (Ronnie Schrand), Jordan L. Mueller (Amanda Smith). A proud grandfather of Kayla L. Mueller (Matt Kleinholz), Eddie Manderschied, Jordan L Mueller, Jr. Loving great grandfather of precious twins Nova Grace and Leighton Lynn Kleinholz. Skip was the brother of the late Gayle Mueller, Henry (Hank) Mueller (Janet), the late Kathy Bacon (Bob), and MaryJo Payne (Joe).
He was employed with Rinzeler and Associates for 25+ years as Chief Engineer and another 13+ years at L B&B Associates in HVAC/ Plumbing before retiring in March 2020.
One of his favorite interests and pastimes was the love of The Southwest Ohio Conservation Club known as SWOCC. He was a life long member and a trustee for building and new construction for several terms. He had a knack for recruiting and motivating other members of the club to volunteer at the work weekends and other times of need. He enjoyed trap shooting, countless camping trips, hanging out with family and friends, beer drinking at the club house, and telling endless funny stories with his right hand man: Jack Daniel. He was respected for his honesty, integrity, and his ability for tackling and resolving any situation was truly remarkable.
Skip was not only our father but our best friend and the strongest, bravest person we know. He was an all around great guy and is loved by so many. There are no words to express his influence on our lives and those around him. There was never a time when we couldn’t go to him for help and not come away with a new perspective. He was truly a compassionate, honest, and caring person.
He was not only the best father to his children but as well the greatest grandfather anyone could ask for. His grandchildren meant the world to him, going out of his way to never miss an opportunity to watch them grow and become the young men and women they are today. Countless memories and life lessons were made over the years that are embedded in the family that he created.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Simon Church Monday November 24, 2025 at 11am
