Wanda Sue Boris, 88, of Lafayette, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024, at her home, surrounded by the love and care of her family. She was born in Jonesville, Virginia, June 25, 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland D. Boris, her parents and one brother.
Surviving are her daughters, Dena (Jay) Downham of Lafayette; Lena (William) Tully of Monticello; sister Connie (John) Freeman of Americus, Kansas; brother Joe Harvel of Lutz, Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and one on the way.
Her greatest joy was caring for her home and family, including her church family. She was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church of Lafayette. Memorial contributions in Sue’s name can be made to Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1024 Elizabeth Street, Lafayette, IN 47904,
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until time of service at 11:30 am, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Hahn Groeber Funeral Home at 1104 Columbia Street, Lafayette, IN 47901 with Pastor Terry Chase officiating. Interment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, 1718 W. 350 N., West Lafayette, IN 47906. Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home is caring for the Boris family.
