Wanda E. Haggard

July 27, 1937 – August 13, 2025

Wanda E Haggard, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on August 13. She dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home with her husband of 69 years, A. O. Haggard. A devoted mother, she cherished every moment with her two daughters, Vickie Ginn (Danny) of Tylertown, MS and Pat Thomas (Bill) of Orlando, FL.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brittany Alford (Wesley) of Denham Springs, LA, Christian Thomas (Sarah) of Chicago, IL, and her great grandchildren, Bryce Alford, Lexie Alford, and Elizabeth Thomas. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lynda Erwing of Talco, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Gertrude Ewing, Brother Ted Ewing, and nephew Dennis Ewing. In addition to her many travels across the country and Canada with her husband, A.O., she dedicated her life to helping her community and those in need by volunteering at the Walthall County Food Pantry.

Her family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff at the Forrest General Hospital, Walthall General Hospital, and Compassus Hospice Care.

The family also requests in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her name to the Walthall County Food Pantry.
