In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by one daughter, Kayla Hughes and a brother, William Earl Brown, Jr.
Wanda leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Nicolas Matute of Parkton; three grandchildren; Carley Hughes, Lacey Hughes, and Taylor Hughes all of St. Pauls; one daughter, Whitney Godwin of Parkton and a host of family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Boles - Saint Pauls Funeral Home in St. Pauls, NC. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at 12:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service in Parkton Cemetery, Parkton, NC.
The family is in the care of Boles Saint Pauls Funeral Home.
