Wanda Lee Rodriguez, a beacon of warmth and joy, passed away on May 27, 2024 in Simpsonville, SC. Born on April 20, 1964, in Woodruff, SC, Wanda's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community.

Wanda was the cherished daughter of the late Jimmy Lee Lanford and Edna "Carolyn" Lanford. She was a loving sister to Melinda Stanley (Joe). Wanda's heart was intertwined with her late husband, Ricky Theodore Rodriguez, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories. She was a devoted mother to her late son, Jimmy Mark Foster, and leaves behind a legacy through her children, Catherine "Danniel" McCraw (Jason), Jesse Rodriguez, and Gwyn Booth (Michael). Her spirit will continue to shine in the lives of her grandchildren, Stephanie McCraw (Austin), Brandon McCraw, Michael "Lee" Powell, and Sophie Grace Booth, as well as her great-grandchildren, Emma Mae Blackwell and Hunter Ray Blackwell.

For 15 years, Wanda embodied the spirit of Christmas as Mrs. Claus, bringing joy and wonder to countless children and families. Her dedication to this role was a reflection of her loving and friendly nature, and her spirited personality made her a beloved figure in the community.

Wanda's interests were a colorful tapestry that mirrored her vibrant life. She found joy in coloring, both in books and on her tablet, and was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, cheering them on with passion and pride. Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence, and she cherished her church, Cedar Shoals Baptist Church in Enoree, SC, where she was a source of light and inspiration to her church family.

Staying connected with friends and family was of utmost importance to Wanda. She nurtured these relationships with the same care and attention she gave to her cooking, which was yet another way she expressed her love. Those who had the pleasure of tasting her culinary creations will remember the warmth and comfort that came with every bite.

Wanda's life was a beautiful illustration of what it means to be loving, friendly, and spirited. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and her unwavering ability to see the good in people and situations. Her legacy is not only in the roles she played or the interests she pursued but in the countless hearts she warmed and the smiles she inspired.

As we bid farewell to Wanda Lee Rodriguez, we celebrate a life lived with boundless love and an enduring spirit. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories shared, the traditions passed down, and the love that continues to grow in the family she adored.

Wanda's journey through life was a remarkable one, marked by the love she gave and the love she received. As we reflect on her life, we are reminded of the impact one person can have on so many. Wanda's presence will be deeply missed, but the light she brought into this world will continue to shine in the lives of those who knew her.
