Wanona “Marcy" Wiker, of La Junta, passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 83.
Marcy was preceded in death by her husband, Willy Norris; her daughter, Amber Brady; her parents; and three brothers. She is survived by her son, Ed (Lori) Wiker; grandchildren, Lisa (Alan) Acuna, Ashley (Jason) Dippre, Michael (Andrea Keen) Brady, Scott (Meghan) Wiker, Keri Cardenas, Brandon Cardenas, Savannah (Dominic) Mondragon, Luke Harper, Josh Pliler; and great-grandchildren, Shane, Kacen, Kaleb, and Tamzin Dippre, Abel and Izzy Acuna, Watson Brady, Creede Wiker, and Avery Mondragon, She also leaves behind her loving companion, Titan.
Marcy dedicated much of her life to helping others. She spent several years working as a drug and alcohol counselor, where she touched and changed many lives. She was also a longtime volunteer with the Women's Resource Center and was proud of her many contributions to the community.
In her retirement, Marcy found the most joy in spending time with her family, cherishing every moment she could with them.
A celebration of her life is pending.
