Warren McPHERSON Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 3, 2025.
Warren "Warney" Clyde McPherson, 74, of Windham, OH, passed comfortably and peacefully at this home on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born July 7, 1950, in Confluence, PA, to the late Lloyd "Mac" and Betty (Lytle) McPherson.
He was raised in Windham and spent most of his life there. Warren held various jobs, which included, working for his family, working at the local Sparkle supermarket, and most recently, he was a custodian for Windham Exempted Schools. He had many interests and hobbies which included fishing, crafting chocolate and eggshell ornaments to sell at holidays, watching westerns, playing video games, and listening to 50's and 60's "oldies" music. Three things Warren was passionate about were sitting at his desk and his porch people-watching, watching his beloved "Stillers" (Steelers), and hating Cleveland sports. Those who knew Warren will miss his smile and off-beat humor.
Warren will be sincerely missed by his sons, Daniel "Danny" (Stacy) McPherson, of Erie, PA, and Sean Patrick (Grace) McPherson, of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Korrin Harvey, Kaitlin Harvey, Jonah McPherson, and Brady McPherson; siblings, Patty (Jim) Moore, of Windham, OH, Kay (Kenny) Friend, of Windham, OH, and Joe (Connie) McPherson, of Dayton, OH, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ronald McPherson, Dorothy Carpenter, Roger McPherson, and Lloyd McPherson.
Please join the family and friends for a Celebration of Life service on Monday, May 12, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at the Windham Church of the Nazarene, 9749 E. Center St., Windham, OH 44288.
