Warren Haisy Torres-Toro Jr., age 68, of Fayetteville, Georgia, a devoted husband, father, grandfather (poppy), and longtime police officer with the Clayton County Police Department, passed away peacefully and entered his eternal rest on November 18, 2025, after a life dedicated to service and family.

Warren was born on February 17, 1957, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, to Warren Haisy Torres-Toro Sr. and Hilda Torres-Toro. He was raised in a military family and lived in various places throughout his childhood, including Italy and Puerto Rico. He graduated from Morrow High School in Ellenwood, Georgia, as a member of the Class of 1975.

Warren began his career in law enforcement with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. He entered into his distinguished career with the Clayton County Police Department on January 8, 1990. Over the course of 35 years, he rose to the rank of Lieutenant and served in numerous capacities, including SWAT, narcotics, STAR unit, and bike unit. He became a reserve officer at the end of 2021 and continued in this role until recently.

On July 30, 1994, Warren married his beloved wife Bonnie (Blair) Torres-Toro and together they celebrated 31 years of love and life together. Warren will be forever cherished in the hearts of his wife, Bonnie; their three sons and daughter-in-laws, Adam (Brittany) Hagy, Brandon (Jenna) Toro, and Drew (Emma) Toro; and his three granddaughters, Hattie Toro, Adeline Hagy, and Lila Toro, along with his precious dog, Dakota. Warren is also survived by his siblings, Bernd (Gail) Torres-Toro, Diana (John) Stephens, and Hugh Torres-Toro, as well as his sister-in-law Mary Blair, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Haisy Torres-Toro Sr. and Hilda Torres-Toro.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Warren was passionate about Ohio State football, the Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta Hawks. He was the biggest supporter of his sons' sports teams throughout their youth and college years. Warren was also known for his commitment to health and fitness. He spent countless hours at the gym, loved cycling, and enjoyed running 5Ks in earlier years. His energy was boundless, his dedication constant, and his commitment to the well-being of others unwavering.

The family invites all who knew Warren to a visitation from 3pm-7pm on Friday, December 5th, in the Fellowship Hall of Peachtree City Christian Church at 500 Kedron Dr, Peachtree City, GA 30269. This will be a time to share stories, laughter, and memories celebrating a life well lived of this husband, father, and dedicated public service worker.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6th, at 11 AM at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, at 142 College Street, Jonesboro, GA 30236. The service will include special recognition and full honors from the Clayton County Police Department in gratitude for his many years of dedicated service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Southwest Christian Care at 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291 in memory of Warren H. Torres-Toro.

A life of service, protection, generosity, and love-Warren's legacy will endure in the hearts of his family, friends, and his brothers and sisters in law enforcement.
