Mr. Warren A. “Buzz” Tyre, age 85, of Jacksonville, Fl. and Pearson, Ga., passed away at Rehabilitation Center of South, Ga. in Tifton, Ga. on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

Warren was born on January 6, 1940, in Jacksonville, Fl. to I.W. and Doris Wright Tyre.

He was a commercial and industrial real estate broker in Jacksonville, Fl. for over 50 years. He was also the owner/operator of Fl. First Coast Realty, Inc. He was a veteran of The United States Marine Corps and of the Episcopalian Faith. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his daughters, Stacey Gambrell and Holley Tyre.

“Buzz” was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He traveled the United States and world in his hunting pursuits. He loved and enjoyed his beloved “Sweetwater Farm” in Atkinson County. He had a true passion for life, living it to the fullest with a great laugh and beautiful smile.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Mary Margaret “Meg” Summerlin, two daughters, Leslie Gayle (Matt) of Vacaville, Ca. and Christy Tyre of Lynchberg, VA, and sister, Gloria Thomas of Waynesboro, Tn.

7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a niece also survive.

Memorialization was by cremation.
