Waylon McCoy Good

No parent should have to bury a child, but after 10 days of fighting, our beautiful baby boy was called home to be our guardian angel.
Waylon McCoy Good was born on September 28th, 2025, to his loving parents, Levi Good and Katie Lantz. Waylon has four brothers waiting for him at home, Declan, Kayden, Creed, and Brantley. They were patiently waiting for him to come home with them. Waylon is also survived by his Grandfather, Eston Good; his Gammy, Peggy Good; and Grandmother, Laura Coats; his Great Grandparents, Clyde and Brenda Good; and Great Grandmother's, Sharon Lantz and Becky Coats.
In addition, he is survived by his uncle's, Seth (Kimbra), Michael (Aamiee), Tyler, and Cameron; his aunts, Carly, Kaylee, Brooklynn, Rosie, Nikki, and Hannah and numerous cousins, and Great Aunts and Uncles.
Waylon was preceded in Death by his paternal Great grandfather, Charles; Great Great Grandfather, Buck; Paternal Great Grandmother, Dorothy; his maternal grandfather, Bucky; and Great Great Grandfathers, Tom and Bim who were all waiting for this sweet boy as he entered Heaven.
Waylon passed away October 8th at 6:11 p.m. at the University of Virginia PICU surrounded by family and in the arms of his mom and dad.
Sweet boy, we will always love you and you will always be in our hearts.
Family night will be held on Monday October 13th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Valley Funeral Service in Edinburg.
A private Graveside service for family and close friends will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
