HOULTON - Wayne "Duck" Boutilier, 65, passed away unexpectedly at Houlton Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Duck was born in Houlton, ME on July 28, 1960, the son of Keith and Madolyn Haggerty Boutilier.

Duck grew up in Littleton, ME, graduated from Houlton High School in 1978, and attended the electrical program at Northern Maine Technical College. He worked at Louisiana Pacific for 29 years, starting out as a shift electrician and most recently as a long-term continuous emission technician. Duck enjoyed four-wheeling and spending time with family and his many friends. He will be remembered for his worth ethic, kindness, and willingness to help anyone he could.

Duck is survived by a daughter, Ashley (Tyler) Cote of Houlton and two adored granddaughters, Lillian and Abigail, who referred to him as Grampy Duck; siblings Ann Boutilier of Dana Point, CA, Alan (Susie) Boutilier of New Limerick, Lindsay (Laurie) Boutilier of Houlton, Suzie Boutilier of Littleton, and Hadley (Robin) Boutilier of Houlton; two cats, Jack and Jill; and many nieces and nephews who knew him as Uncle Duck. He was predeceased by his son, Mark Wayne and his parents.

Friends may call on Saturday, August 9th at 210 Campbell Road, Littleton from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 11th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery on Smyrna Street in Houlton with Fr. Kevin Martin officiating. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Duck may be sent to a charity of your choice.
