Wayne Everhart

Wayne Warren Everhart, at 102 years, passed away at Aviva Hills Retirement Community on July 4th, 2024. He had recently celebrated his 102nd birthday last month on June 24th. His wife Dorothy Jean McCoy Everhart, passed away in 2015 a few months after celebrating their 74th anniversary. They met as teenagers at Canton McKinley Highschool.
A few years after his stint in the army. Wayne completed his schooling and certification from Reppert School of Auctioneering in Decatur, Indiana. He then started his own business as Wayne Everhart, Auctioneer which he owned and operated until he retired at 83 years of age. Dorothy and their three children all worked alongside of him in the family business.
He is survived by his three children and their spouses, Terry "Ty" (Linda) Everhart, Pamela (Troy) Wright, and Jeff (Lynn) Everhart. He also had eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Cindy Everhart, and one of his six siblings, Delores Everhart Beadle of Lakewood, CA.
