Wayne Komorowski Obituary

Wayne Thomas Komorowski, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather “GG”, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on August 1, 1942, in Milwaukee, WI, Wayne grew up to embody the values of generosity, courage, and gentleness that would define his character throughout his life.

Wayne's journey began as a proud graduate of Don Bosco High School in Milwaukee, WI, in 1959. His thirst for knowledge and commitment to excellence led him to further his education at Spencerian College, now known as Concordia College, where he graduated in 1965. Wayne's dedication to his studies laid a strong foundation for his successful career.

Upon completing his education, Wayne served honorably in the United States Airforce Reserves for 6 years, a testament to his courage and patriotism. His professional life was marked by 26 years of dedicated service as an accountant at Milwaukee Cylinder, where his meticulous nature and integrity were greatly valued. Later in life, Wayne and his beloved wife, Patricia, moved to Arizona, where they enjoyed the warmth and beauty of the desert landscape.

Wayne's 55-year marriage to Patricia was filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Together, they raised a loving family, including their son Todd and his wife Pam. Wayne was a proud grandfather to Bobby (Stacy), Ashley (Evan) Schwarzhuber, and Kyle (fiancée Kelsey Koepke) Komorowski. His great-grandchildren, Emma, Bailey, Kenley, and Karsen, brought immense joy to his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

He is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Patricia; their son, Todd, and his wife Pam; his grandchildren; and his siblings-in-law, Vicki (the late Richard) LaVota and David (Jenell) Blochowicz. Wayne was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Dominiak, whose memory he held close to his heart.

Wayne's love for travel took him and Patricia on many memorable journeys, capturing the beauty of the world through his photography. A passionate Milwaukee Brewer fan, he never missed a chance to cheer on his favorite team. At home, Wayne's love for the outdoors was evident in the meticulous care he took of his yard, often seen cutting the grass twice a week to ensure it was just perfect.

Those who knew Wayne will remember him as a man of great generosity. He gave freely of his time and resources, always willing to lend a helping hand. His courage was evident not only in his military service but also in the way he faced life's challenges with unwavering strength. Wayne's gentle spirit could soothe even the most troubled heart, and his presence was a source of comfort to all.

Wayne's legacy is one of love, commitment, and honor. He lived a life that was full and rich, touching the lives of many with his kindness and warmth. As we bid farewell to Wayne Thomas Komorowski, we find solace in the memories we hold dear and the impact he made on our lives. His spirit will continue to inspire us, and his memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
