Wayne Dale Stutzman

Wayne married the love of his life Dorothy Dotty and they experienced over 50 years of wedded bliss. Not long after they tied the knot, Wayne and Dotty welcomed a beautiful daughter, Kellie.
He retired from K-Mart Corp. as an executive buyer after 30 years of dedicated service. Upon retirement, Wayne happily went to work for Bass Pro Shop running the gun range. This reflected his love for the outdoors and that he was touted as an avid sportsman. It was even noted that he drew great pleasure from teaching his grandsons how to fish. Not to be forgotten was his affinity for golf. Many corporate outings were successfully organized by Wayne during his time with K-Mart because of his precise planning.
Up north was a special place to him, especially spending it with family on the water.
December 7, 2017 will always be a significant date to remember. It was the day Wayne received a bone marrow donation and was given a new life. Although everyone hoped it would have lasted longer, it assuredly provided more time to spend together with him.
In addition to Dotty, Wayne is survived by his devoted daughter, Kellie DeVito (Joseph), his wonderful grandchildren, Evan, Aidan and Elena, and his siblings, John Koehl (Jan), Judy Franjesh (John) and Pat Koehl (Patty).
A Funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022- 12:30PM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 749 W. 14 Mile Rd., Clawson. Visitation at the church will begin that morning at 11:30AM.
Burial will be Monday, August 29, 2022- 2:30PM at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy. All are welcome to attend. If you wish to join the family, please gather just inside the main cemtery gate upon arrival.
