Wendell Davis Obituary

Wendell Eugene Davis age 75 of Springfield passed away at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville on November 6, 2022.
He was born on December 14, 1946, to the late Orville and Glenda Smith Davis in Hoxie, Arkansas. Mr. Davis joined the United States Navy serving on the USS Chemung. He was honorably discharged in 1966. Mr. Davis worked for many years a salesman for Schwan's before retiring to send more time with his family.
Mr. Davis love his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed family gathers where he would make everyone laugh with his stories.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis is proceeded in death by his in-laws; Willard and Lois Workman, Jerry Dale and Linda Davis, Kenny Davis, Eddie Davis, Don Simpson, Eugene Housdan, Bill and Francis Workman.
He is survived by his loving wife Ada Davis; children, Wendy Reveyoso of Springfield TN, Shelly and Rick Vanderslice of Duncan OK, Stacy and Angela Neblett of Springfield TN; grandchildren, Dustin Davis of Duncan OK, Brannon and Tiffany Holt of Ardmore OK, William and Cheyenna Sullivan of Ringling OK, Mike and Nina Forlenza of Northport NY, Hunter and Ashby Davis of Thompsons Station TN, Fisher and Kylea Davis of Springfield TN, Lillian Reveyoso of Springfield TN, Erick Vanderslice of Duncan OK, Riley and Victoria Palmer of Lawton OK, Stacy Neblett Jr. of Lebanon TN; great grandchildren: Abby, Emily, Audrey, Kaydence, Pyper, Conner, Brenly, Joel, Olivia, Daniel, Katherine, Everett; siblings, Pat Housdan, Butch and Debbie Schaechtel, Joe and Lou Jane Romine, Randy Davis, Sonny and Judy Rice, Hubert and Trisha Workman, Sue Simpson, Pam and Gene Jones, Willard and Glenda Workman, Gary Workman and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Life Celebration and Military Honors will be held at 11am on December 3, 2022, at First Freewill Baptist Church 301 NW 7th Street, Walnut Ridge, AR 72476. Burial will follow the service at Old Lebanon Cemetery.
These arrangements were entrusted to Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home and Cremation Center: 4005 Memorial Blvd Springfield, TN 37172.
