Wendi Priesmeyer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Triska Funeral Home - El Campo on Dec. 30, 2025.
Wendi Nicole Iverson Priesmeyer, known to most as Nicole, age 51, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025. She was born on September 26, 1974, to Mardaza "Mardy" Iverson and Don Iverson in Austin, Texas. She attended Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown, Texas, where she was a Sterling Star. She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from Southwest Texas State University, where she was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority, and a Master of Social Work from Texas State University. Nicole spent her career helping many others as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist, notably working for Hospice, CPS, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation, and various hospitals.

Nicole was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her children and doing various activities such as shopping, going to the movies, going to the beach, and having long talks. Nicole was an active member of her community; she was on various committees for her children's activities in school, she was a member of the El Campo chapter of Theta Delta, she helped lead and team many different A.C.T.S. retreats through St. Philip's, and she had a listening ear and a word of advice for anyone who needed it. She will be remembered for her big smile that lit up every room she was in and her strong personality.

Nicole is preceded in death by her mother, Mardaza Iverson, brother Rick Gray, Grandfather of her children Daniel Priesmeyer, and Ann Holmes.

She is survived by her children, Georgia Priesmeyer, Cambrie Priesmeyer, and Carter Priesmeyer, father Don Iverson, sister Tricia (Paul) Thomas, nephew Corey (Natalie) Thomas, great-niece Charlize Thomas, God-Sister Stacey (Daniel) Lanier, Grandmother of her children Doris Priesmeyer, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to her healthcare team at MD Anderson Cancer Center, especially Dr. Sheeba Thomas and her team, and the teams from Houston Hospice El Campo and El Campo Memorial Hospital.

Nicole's Celebration of Life will take place at the 409 Club located at 107 N Mechanic St. El Campo, TX 77437– on January 10, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with the Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. The reception will follow from 3-5 p.m.
