Wilbert Uriah Reese
"Bo"
1980 - 2024
Wilbert Uriah Reese affectionately called "Bo" was called home on December 19, 2024, at the age of 44. He was born on June 25, 1980, in New Orleans, LA to Jacquelyn Reese and the late Wilbert Jackson. He was a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA.
Bo was educated in the Orleans Public School system and was a proud graduate of L.B. Landry High School class of 1998. He was ranked in the top ten of his graduating class and remained a proud supporter of his alma mater and very active with the L. B. Landry Alumni.
Bo was very ambitious, hardworking and an overachiever. One of his biggest joys was cooking for family and friends. He enjoyed it so much that he opened his own catering service, and he named it "Bo Kn.o.w$ Flava". Bo was the life of the party, and he had a smile that brightened everybody he encountered. He took on all jobs no matter the size because in his eyes he coined them all as "Small Jobs."
Wilbert "Bo" leaves to honor his legacy, his mother Jacquelyn Reese, Stepfather Jeannie Williams, Grandmother Alice Reese. He was the loving father of five children, Kol Reese, Uriah Reese, Logan Reese, Beaux Reese and Miltranisha Williams and one God Child Tiara Black, his companion Kemai Young and four stepchildren, Derrick Jones, III, Damarion Jones, Da'mani Jones and Derrion Jones. Four sisters, Lakesha Reese-Penn, Cheramie Rami (Travis), Catina Wright and Jenicka Harrison, two brothers, Corey Brock and Terrel Reese (Tanya) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, family, and his L.B. Landry family.
Wilbert "Bo" was preceded in death by his grandparents Uriah and Catherine Jackson, his Grandfather Otis Reese, Sr., his father Wilbert Jackson, his aunt Evelyn Jackson, brother JamalWillams and daughter Kiara A Bentley.
Relatives and friends of the family, St. Stephens Baptist Church and all neighboring churches as well as Ochsner Medical Center, Lafayette, Punctual Abstract Company, Jo Ellen Smith Convalescent Center, Fine & Associates, East Baton Rouge Parish School Board, Touch Mark National Bank, Customers of Bo Kn.o.w$ Flava and L.B. Sending heartfelt love, prayers and condolences to his mother Ms. Jackie, siblings, children, family and friends and his beloved. Bo is one in a million always a humble spirit and a loving smile. A heart that loved the world his actions spoke for his caring attitude . Bo was like a son to me and I loved him as such way back Chippewa St.
Bo represented in the club or wherever he may be when my deceased son Lil Derrick Beef Ain´t Neva Squashed would play always tagging me in iykyk.
