Wilbur "Wil" Dean Siebert, 89 of Midland, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025 at K & K Quality Care. He was born to the late Clifford and Lida (Gray) Siebert on April 18, 1935 in Midland, MI. Wilbur married the love of his life Shirley Ann Graham on September 17, 1955 and they shared seventy loving years together.
Wilbur was an operator at Dow Chemical and retired in May of 1993. Wil loved doing outdoor activities such as deer hunting and tending to his garden. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Midland.
Wil is survived by his wife; Shirley Siebert, children; Susan (Donald) Cabala, Debora (Ken Augustine) Jenkins, Thomas (Dede) Siebert, grandchildren; Marcia (Zack) Young, Matthew Jenkins, Michael (Megan) Jenkins, Christopher (Nicole) Siebert, Shannon Betz, Randi Hall, Tonya (Kevin) Keilitz, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his sister; Jeanne Mieske and son-in-law; Allen Jenkins.
A funeral service will be at 11:00am on March 3, 2025 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home with John Graveline officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on March 2, 2025 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home and from 10:00am until time of service on Monday. He will be laid to rest at Midland Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Alzheimer's Association and/or Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in his honor.
