Following his retirement, Steve worked in Midland for Right Management Consultants, was an adjunct instructor at Saginaw Valley State University and Davenport University, provided human resources consulting services through Anderson and Associates and was Director of Human Resources at the Midland Center for the Arts.
As a community volunteer Steve was a dedicated board member of The Salvation Army, Senior Services and Habitat for Humanity. His positive attitude and willingness to help was always in the forefront.
Steve loved being with his grandchildren, taking family vacations and visiting with family and friends. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a trusted friend.
Surviving besides his wife Noreen are sons Todd (Krista) and Joel (Tara), five grandchildren, brother-in-law Loren (Debbie) Harris and cousin David Young.
In accordance with Steve's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
