Wilfrid Kelley Obituary
Joe worked as a machinist for Allisons GM and received a ring and certificate for over twenty-five years of service. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW of Greenfield and a member of the United Auto Workers Union. He received a National Defense Bronze Star, Vietnam campaign medal, and a Vietnam Service Medal. Joe enjoyed fishing, camping, shopping, going to flea markets, spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Kelley; children, Bill (Kim) Foor, Patty Foor, and Steve (Amber) Foor; five grandchildren, Chelsey, Taylor, Katie, Krista, and Brayden; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Englert and Kathy Dishman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfrid Joseph and Mary Kelley; brother, Richard Kelley; sister, Rosie Kelley; sister-in-law, Charlene Kelley; and great-grandson, River.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 12:00 p.m. Chaplain Rob Mifflin will be officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Grove Lawn Cemetery in Pendleton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301, by website at https://www.dav.org/, or donate by phone at 877-647-8387. Envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
