Will Franklin Wible, 84, passed away on October 14, 2024, at the The Gables in Marysville, Ohio. Born on March 15, 1940, Will dedicated his life to his family, his country, and his community.
Will proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1966, an experience that shaped much of his early life. Will retired from Memorial Hospital as a maintenance supervisor where his diligence and expertise were greatly valued.
A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Will was deeply committed to his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Beth Wible; son, John Wible and his partner Bryan Hange; daughter, Amy Wible- Green and her husband Richard Green; stepson, Bradley Peterman; and stepdaughter, Heidi Ormeroid and her husband Jeremy Ormeroid. He was a cherished grandfather to Reece Green, Christopher Peterman, and Emily Peterman. Brother -in- law to Patrick Self and his wife Melanie, Michael Self and his wife Jennifer, and was loved by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Will was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Helen Bennett-Wible; his father, J. Glenn Wible; his mother, Cecile Mouser-Wible; his sister, Barbara Wible-Bowman; his step-daughter-in-law, Touya Davis-Peterman.
Will was a member of Cornerstone Global Methodist Church, where he found a strong community of faith and service, and a longtime member of the Milford Center Lion's Club. His hobbies included restoring vintage cars, particularly Volkswagens, and building model trains, activities that showcased his meticulous attention to detail and patience.
Visitation will be held at Ingram & Snyder Funeral Homes, 975 North Maple Street, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 5 until 7 pm. A funeral service celebrating Will's life will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, with Pastor Peggy Hoy officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Center Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Will may be made to Cornerstone Global Methodist Church or Loving Care Hospice.
