Willard Lee Endorf, 86, of Daykin, NE passed away peacefully on June 29, 2023, at Gardenside, Fairbury.
He was born on April 17, 1937, to William and Laura (Rohr) Endorf of Tobias, NE.
He graduated from Daykin High School where he met his future wife. On March 1, 1959, he married
Lorraine Schwisow at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Daykin. They farmed and lived in Western, Alexandria
and Daykin areas until 1996 when they moved into Daykin.
He graduated from Fairbury Junior College with a major in Agriculture and was a member of the National
Guard for 7 years.
He was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church, Tobias, where he served on the Zion Lutheran School
Board and was a Church Trustee. He also served on the Jefferson County Extension Board, Daykin Rural
Fire Board, and Daykin Elevator Board.
His hobbies included wood crafting, attending auctions, collecting toy tractors, and restoring antique
tractors.
Preceding him in death were his wife Lorraine, his parents and brother Donovan.
Survived by children, Kay and Jeff Brown, Karla and Pat Aurora all of Omaha, and Kent and Lisa Endorf of
Tobias.
Grandchildren – Cole Weston of Lincoln, Chelsey Skiles, Codey Skiles, and Cassandra (Shawn) Haynes, all
of Omaha, Kate (Brant) Stewart of Lincoln, Ann Endorf (Brandon Jackson) of Kansas City, KS, and Grant
Endorf of Daykin and 9 Great-Grandchildren. Sister-in law Doris Endorf of Daykin and nephew and niece
Dale and Dora.
Services will be Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church – Tobias, NE with Rev. Gideon Pullmann officiating. Public Viewing will be Wednesday evening from 5 – 7 at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury. Memorials will go to the Family's Choice. Music was provided by Jessica Denison. The pallbearers are Cole Weston, Codey Skiles, Grant Endorf,
Dale Endorf, Mark Rohr, and Ryan Holtmeier. The burial will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Tobias
