Willard Richard Nalchajian, 82, of Exeter, New Hampshire, passed away on June 8, 2025, surrounded by family. Will was born on November 25, 1942 in Everett, Massachusetts, the son of Dr. Willard D. and Evelyn Whalen Nalchajian. He grew up with three older sisters, Joanne (Lawson), Priscilla (Slade), and Nancy (Seal). He graduated from The Governor's Academy and Middlebury College. Will was the beloved husband of Lynne (Webster) Nalchajian, whom he met at Middlebury and married on August 13, 1966. Will and Lynne moved to South Burlington, Vermont, in 1968, where they resided along the shore of Lake Champlain for over 50 years before moving to RiverWoods Exeter in 2021. In Vermont, Will worked as a banker in the trust and investment fields. He was an active volunteer in the community, serving on the school board, coaching baseball, officiating swim meets, and starting the varsity lacrosse program at South Burlington High School. Will enjoyed attending UVM hockey games, BC football games, and his children's and grandchildren's many activities. He also enjoyed traveling, golfing, playing tennis at the Burlington Tennis Club, boating on Lake Champlain, and spending time at his parents' cottage on Ossipee Lake. Will is survived by his wife, Lynne of Exeter, New Hampshire; his daughter Lisa Nalchajian Mingolla and her husband Joseph Mingolla; his son, Dr. David Nalchajian, DMD and his wife, Dr. Nicole Nalchajian, MD; his grandchildren Alex and Lindsay Mingolla and Andrew, William, and Davis Nalchajian; his sister, Nancy Seal; and many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Ridge at RiverWoods Exeter at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 20, 2025. A private burial service will be held in Vermont in July. In lieu of flowers, donations in Will's honor can be made to the RiverWoods Exeter Employee Appreciation Fund (checks written to "RiverWoods Exeter," with "EAF – In Memory of W.
