Raise a Diet Pepsi (bonus point for straw and can koozie) for a guy whose middle name should have been Trouble.
Bill was a beloved son, brother, husband, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
He was a longtime resident of Milwaukie. Bill worked for PP&L before striking out as an entrepreneur and owner of Minuteman Press shops. Like his late wife, Marleen, Bill was known for his limitless generosity.
A bit of a daredevil, Bill loved fast cars, anything Wild West, yelling at his TV, and shushing his adored grandkids. He was also a big fan of dogs. His favorite visitors in his later years were always the grandkids - of any species.
For the last ten years of his life, Bill astounded everyone with his perseverance. After a stroke took away his ability to speak clearly, walk and use his right hand, he still managed to get out into the world and make mischief.
He joins his beloved wife of 54 years, and leaves behind three children, their spouses, five grandchildren and two granddogs, one great-granddaughter and two great-granddogs. Not to mention the countless other family, friends, and acquaintances who loved him.
Bill's family would like to express our enormous gratitude to the caregivers, med techs, and employees of The Springs at Clackamas Woods who so tenderly and respectfully cared for him.
