William “Bill” Harry Crouse, 75, passed away on March 5, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bill was born on December 27, 1950, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to Luther and Florence Crouse. An only child, he grew up in Winston-Salem and attended R.J. Reynolds High School before continuing his education at Elon University.
Bill spent his professional life as a dedicated and loyal employee, working for many years with RJR Nabisco and later retiring from Sara Lee Industries. He was known as a hardworking and dependable company man who took pride in his work and the relationships he built throughout his career.
Outside of work, Bill enjoyed spending time on the golf course and was a devoted fan of ACC basketball. He especially loved cheering for the hometown teams of Wake Forest and UNC Chapel Hill.
Bill leaves behind his daughter, Catherine, and his son, Robert, as well as his four grandchildren: Scarlett, Audrey, Harper, and Callie. He is also survived by his childhood friend Lisa McDonald and his devoted caretaker, Tina Heppelle.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, dedication, and the quiet way he cared for those around him. He will be deeply missed. A private service will be held to honor Bill's life.
