William "Bill" Peter Buelter, 79, of Plymouth passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 as a result of an automobile accident.
Bill was born on November 24, 1944 in Clintonville to the late Peter and Elnora (Kunschke) Buelter. He was a graduate of Clintonville High School. He furthered his education at Appleton Vocational School earning an Associate degree in Auto Mechanics. In 1965, Bill was drafted into the United States Army, serving during Vietnam. On November 1, 1969, he married Judith (Theis) Pickett, she preceded him in death on March 13, 2021. Bill worked as a computer programmer for the Kohler Company for over 27 years until his retirement in 2007. Bill enjoyed carving, target practice, riding his motorcycle and driving his Mustang.
Bill is survived by two sons: George Pickett and Matthew (life partner Beth) Buelter, both of Plymouth; one daughter: Laurie (Douglas) Lewin, Newton; and special friends: John and Audrey Widstrand and Vic and Connie Konop. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Judy; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Fred and Jeanette Theis; two brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held to honor Bill's life on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville.
