William Alan (Bill). Caputo, 75, of Elk Fork Road Middlebourne, WV, passed away March 17, 2025.
Bill was born March 8, 1950, at the Doctors Hospital in Washington, DC to William and Esther Caputo.
Bill was owner of General Construction and owner of Paden City True Value until retirement. A member of the Bridge Street Church of Christ. Bill loved golfing and snow skiing with his very closest friend Dean Rohrig, Tim Aiken, Jeff Sprouse and very best friend Steve Reynolds of Spokane, WA.
Bill graduated from John F. Kennedy and Maryland State College before moving to West Virginia.
Bill survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce (Powell) Caputo, his daughter Stacey (Jody) Brown and two wonderful grandsons Carson and Kyle Brown; his brother Fredrick Caputo of Kentucky and his loving sister Irene (Richard) Lynn; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday 6-8 pm at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, WV where services will be held on Friday at 1 pm with Evangelist Paolo DeLuca officiating.
Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville, WV.
