Bill was born June 16, 1937, in Avon Twp., Michigan, to the late Brant and Naomi (Ladner) Davis. He married Margaret B. McQueen in 1960. She preceded him in death November 10, 2014. Mr. Davis is a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Bill was a product design engineer with Chrysler, and started Davis Engineering in 1964 where he was a jack of all trades and built racecars, monster trucks and stretch limos. Bill's entire life revolved around racing, it became his true passion, and he built his first racecar in 1977. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and enjoyed taking the "little greats" on golf cart rides to see the deer.
Surviving are: Son, Scott Davis; Daughter, Michelle (Dennis) Berry; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. Bill was also preceded in death by: Son, Ron Davis, on May 15, 2015. Please sign our guestbook or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.

Bill 's family. Just saw the Obituary online. I worked with Bill in the Engineering dept at Introl division of Chrysler 1966-1974. I also hauled framework lumber to E. dodge rd. for a big pole barn. Would like to talk to his son or daughter. My phone number is 734-320-6646 . RIP Friend!!!
