LANGWORTHY, Robert Edwin – of Mt. Morris, age 75, died Sunday, October 5, 2025 at LaVigne Home. Honoring Robert's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to

Robert was born March 7, 1950 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harold and Marian (Popp) Langworthy. He grew up in the Clio area and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1968. Robert graduated from the University of Michigan in 1977, then received his Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Arizona in 1984. He dated Vicki Perkins for 24 years before finally tying the knot in 2005. They were together for 44 years.
Known by most of his friends as Bob, he worked early on as a set designer in theater, then spent most of his career as a finish carpenter. He used his artistic eye and his hands to create unique and beautiful works that people still talk about today. He loved spending time with all of his friends, especially at the Niec farm. After work, if he wasn't helping someone, then he was having fun; listening to music, trying to play it, motorcycling, flying, and telling stories over drinks. Bob also loved his dogs. Over the course of his life, he had 16 dogs, all of them rescued or taken in from someone else. His dogs got to share in so much of his life, from running in his younger years, to being couch buddies later. He even had a few cats along the way. His legacy is one of friendship and camaraderie.
If you knew Bob, have a drink, show some love to an animal, and tell a story about him in his honor.
Bob is survived by his Wife, Vicki Perkins; Brother, Sanford Langworthy; Nephew, Kevin (& Nichole) Langworthy. He was preceded in death by his Parents; and brother, Dr Jack Langworthy MD. Please sign our guestbook or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
