William Joseph Dixon III, lovingly known as Billy D, passed away on May 18, 2024, at the age of 45. He was born on November 8, 1978, most recently resided in Great Bend, PA.
William adored spending time with his sons, and nothing brought him more joy than being in their company. He was a devoted father to William IV, Austin Dixon, Jayden Morrison,Brayden Lundi, Nathan Dixon, and Brantley Dixon.
Sports were a passion for William, and he particularly cherished cheering on the San Francisco 49ers, the New York Yankees, and cheering for Jimmy Johnson. Whenever a game or race was on, you could find him enthusiastically supporting his favorite teams and driver.
He is survived by his parents, William Jr. and Lena Dixon of Windsor, NY; his brothers, Jeremy Dixon of Windsor, NY, Justin (April) Dixon of Ouaquaga, NY; his sister, Monica Curren and Brad Phillips of Windsor, NY; his paternal grandmother, MaryJane Dixon; and his special Aunt Debra (Mike) Doney; along with 10 nieces and nephews, Ethan, Brendon, Riley, Tyler, Kameron, Hailey, Jasmine, Alyson, Miley and Ryleigh who he adored; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Harvey and Janice Wayman; his paternal grandfather, William Sr.; and uncle John Dixon.
Family and friends are invited to attend the service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc. in Hallstead, PA. Following the service, William will be laid to rest in Windsor, NY. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Forever remembered, William Joseph Dixon III will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Please consider memorial contributions in his memory to the funeral home, P.O.
